Belete

Belete is a puzzle adventure game that I made with 2 friends. The video showcases the puzzle features as well as the storytelling feature. We want our players to interact with the items as much as they can, so we can use the items to tell the story and the world settings in an interactive way. That's why I design these clicking puzzle features.

 

The game is written in Mandarin because we want to target China market. I had posted English version documents to help explain the puzzle and story.

In this project, my role is design, prototype, level blockout, and VFX. My friends will handle the story scripts, music, 3D, and 2D assets.

Mansion 2F

This map shows the whole view of the mansion level. Blue bar means a door player can open and enter. Red bar means a door player needs to solve some puzzles to unlock it. Green dot is where the player spawns when he start this level.

Puzzle Sequence

This document is a sequence to solve the room puzzle. It shows which item should the player interact with and which item will the player gain. It helps a lot when I prototype the puzzle, so I don't forget to implement anything.
